Qualifications and Accreditation

I am a UKCP-accredited counsellor with a BSc in Integrative Counselling and over 20 years of experience working with people in both educational and therapeutic settings.

My professional background includes supporting adolescents and adults – including people with neurodiversity – through a wide range of emotional, psychological, and developmental challenges. This extensive experience has shaped my calm, grounded, and relational approach to counselling.

In addition to my counselling practice, I have also mentored counselling students, supporting their growth, development, and ethical practice as they train to become therapists. I am passionate about contributing to the field through both direct work with clients and the nurturing of future practitioners.

As a registered member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), I adhere to their ethical standards and commitment to ongoing professional development. I regularly undertake supervision and training to deepen and refresh my practice, ensuring that I offer a high standard of care to every client.

I bring empathy, integrity, and a wealth of experience to the therapeutic relationship.

Commitment to Diversity

I am deeply committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful space for all. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with people from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures, identities, and life experiences.

Whether you are navigating issues related to race, gender, sexuality, disability, neurodiversity, or faith, I offer a non-judgmental and affirming environment where you can explore your experiences safely and openly.

I believe that difference enriches the therapeutic process, and I approach each person with curiosity, cultural sensitivity, and deep respect.
